Station WAR operated from 1200 Zulu until 2400 Zulu conducting HF radio operations with contacts made with military and amateur stations located around the United States.
In addition to conducting two-way voice communications, station WAR broadcast the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) digital message using
MILSTD110, RTTY, and CW.
